Outdoor learning is woven into Irish school life. Gaisce — the President's Award — challenges teenagers to complete outdoor expeditions, community service and personal skills, reaching tens of thousands of young people each year. An Óige runs a youth-hostel network built for school and youth groups, and the Forest School movement has spread rapidly across primary schools, supported by Leave No Trace Ireland's ethics-first outdoor training.
